Just walked in the door to find a leaflet, "your water has now been installed"
Ok so I knew it was coming and already have the sub meter ready.
Not sure whether to put it before the system so I'm measuring all water going to ro, or, install it in my pure water line going to tank so I'm measuring pure only.
I want to offset water usage from my tax but also claim non return to sewer to reduce my bill.
Trouble is my waste pipe will be putting water into the sewer, this can't be avoided.

usually it has to be put on your supply before ro so you know your complete water usage for tax purposes.
if you put you waste into sewer then you will be able only to claim for pure which is not going to be a lot.

Your right there Martin. I fill around 400 litres a day, so 2000 a week pure. Not 100% sure on Thames water sewarage cost but I could only file a non return to sewer for about £3 a week at that rate.

Must be so much easier being di only on a water meter. Can claim back 100% sewerage for the business, quicker and cheaper to fill to tank, less water to use.
