I stopped using hot but still have the system in my van and when needed I will use it again but only to be able to work in sub zero conditions,

hot water wrecks the hoses,  most dont realise that when using hot water through microbore hose yes it goes soft but when using cold the hose is really stiff, much stiffer than a hose that has never been used with hot water,

thats why you get some folk saying when the gas bottle ran out the hose goes like steel wire, compare yourselve and you will see what I mean. I found I was only actually using the hot to make the hose soft and supple, I bought a new 100m of microbore and took the gas bottle out of my van

I havent moved over to hot and havent lost any because I havent changed.
