Tell us more can you.
The origin of colloidal chemistry can be traced back to the 1880's, when it was evolved by David Graham, a British chemist. Article here

From an article in 1959 A Study on Micelle Formation in Colloidal Electrolyte Solutions

And in 1962 THERMODYNAMICS OF MICELLE FORMATION

colloidal micelles technology came to the fore in the early 70s when they were developed to clean up oil spills, from then on there have been many different safe formulations developed for cleaning quite an array of surfaces.

Having a look at Davids references Tadga they seem to have been developed in the late 1800's. Not saying your wrong Tadga but i heard that the oil spill thing is a bit of a myth... are there any references about this any where?

What is the ph of bio clean in use? Restoremate website mentions 10ish.. is that the solution or in dilution?

Hi Robin, like i said in the cleaning industry they came to the fore in the early 70s when they developed micelles based formulas for cleaning up oil spills from the worlds oceans, i think its fair to say many people don't realize how successful and huge this technology is growing, for example we purchase all our micelles based cleaning solutions from  inventekcleaners.com       inventek  are the worlds foremost suppliers of colloidal chemistry as an example they have won a contract worth 5 billion dollars to supply their products to www.getg.com  who supply  micelles based cleaning solutions to some of the worlds largest producing oil companies, having visited inventeks manufacturing facility in New Jersey many times and as big as it is, it will take them 5 years to produce the amount of product required by green earth technologies just to fulfill one contract. just gives an idea how big the industry is going to grow.

Yes Radek you are right for surface cleaning on their platforms, storage tanks, equipment, etc, etc. to the best of my knowledge micelles technology will do SFA in eliminating oil leaks but when they happen they are very effective when it comes to cleaning them up.

So, like has been said a few times now, nothing to do with this century.  Again, your information is always limited and not very accurate.

Who really gives a $hyte!!!

the history of the product is as irrelevant as Peter and Tadgh's "personal" online argument...

The OP (Colin) has discovered the product and is happy....

Can we not leave it at that?? and stop the petty bloody bickering....?
Everyday this forum slips further from God.  :'(

tadgh, nothing to do with statistics for our industry, 5m contract for oil industry only, not the floor, carpet cleaners suppliers.
if works very good for them does not mean is very good for us.
We are having specialized products for every different situation we meet. If something is for everything can not be good. Prochem, chemspec are spending much more to develop few of theirs priducts then thus 5m. It says a lot.
As said before, too much agitation, too long waiting/dwell times. Not even good in car valeting sector. Tried and is repelling on the surfaces, running down insted of sticking to the surface/grease.
If this cheap product would be good then would not be missed by all suppliers, manufacturers of all different cleaning tasks. But here we have suppliers and manufacturers that supplie that only on the side as an option to be eco friendly.
Specialistic leather cleaners cut the dirt 3 times faster then miscelles, car valet all purpouse cleaners 10 times faster and nobody cares what are increditiens.
Gives some work only when use with magic sponges and even then I preffer them with other products like leather clinics cleaners, much much faster work.
