How much for bungalows, trad?
« on: May 04, 2015, 10:46:53 am »
Just wondering if i am too cheap. Ive got a load of these detatched bungalows, very compact, all traditional method...I am charging £8.00 per bungalow or £10 with a conservatory. Is this too cheap? Here is an example of the size

They are nearly all OAP's in this area, so not sure how far i can push the price really. I am in Cardiff btw if it makes any difference.

Thanks

I would be charging about £6-£7 for the windows that I see in the picture. (front and side). Probably about £12 for whole lot excluding conservatory.

Think logically you are charging £8.00 for 1 without a conny but charging an extra £2 for 1 with a conny which probs has as much glass as the rest of the property  ??? ??? .

Most of them old folks will have more money than you and you are giving them a cheap price , As said it should be £6-7 just for the front & side

It depends where you are. I would charge £17 for that or £20 with a conservatory WFP.

About £8 each but would add a bit more for conny, conny prob = more work than the house

Maybe £8 bungalow add £5 for conny, if you have a lot very compact you will easy do 4-5 an hour so nice easy money.

Of course I'd always aim for monthly.

looks like a £12 job and with conny £16 but if I had a close with loads on then tbh I wouldn't loose any sleep at £10 or even £8 if I could do 4 to 5 an hour  :)

That's it in a nutshell if your comfortably reaching your hourly target then happy days, if your killing yourself or not
achieving your hourly target then up the prices.

Don't forget to add another 25% to that price if you use an additive in your pure, for the extra shine. ;D

I wouldn't be getting them at £20.

That's a 6/7 minute job at most (glass time) if a load together, £10 seems fair.

if your happy with £8 and can get x3 or x4 done in a hour , then that's £24 / £32 a hour .
Pretty impressive that .
A lot better than most jobs advertised .
