Put your son in the passenger seat - he won't be around long  ;)

Hello mate, glad it fits, am sure you can pick an elbow fitting for the big one if you ever need to, space is limited a bit now so use your roof and fit ya hose reel upside down to it, ( let me know if a pic needed ) this will free up the floor space,
I would use the space behind tank/ seats to have battery pumps and controllers, and if they fit DI bottles, or a small double DI (£65) would easily fit, so hoses would then come out the far side( if they fit round, maybe another small hole if they don't )  up the ply lined into hose reels, leaving the back of the van empty for the boys.

I haven't finished mine yet and prob never will, it's just a case of making the most with the space you got.

Simon, I was just looking at your old set up, are you just using the tank as a holding tank to fill trolley and back pack and is the water already at 000 ??

And are you not bothering with a hose reel. Maybe this is now something you should think about as it will make life easier. Also by fixing it up out the way it doesn't move ever when reeling in or out.

the big tap is for my backpack, which i'm still gonna use a lot.  my tap tds is only 36 so i fill the tank with pure. im putting the hose through the floor so i can work with doors shut , but i suppose i could still have the reel on the roof , ive got gardiners claber reel if thats strong enough a pic would be much appreciated

Totally agree, most dangerous set-up Iv seen in a long time, brake hard and that tanks liable to hit you from behind
never mind a collision.

As far as safety goes, you can get 2 bars fitted behind ya seats, top and bottom, or keep eye on eBay for framed tank.

Send me your contact details mate and I will send pic.

I would run hose round back of tank through pump with battery and controller in same area, up the back of driver across top of tank into reel, keeps the back empty, can even run 2 pumps round this way.

Local welder will put a bar across for you bout £35, easy enough could even go from floor to roof right next to tank 1 each end

You get there in the end mate. Bit by bit
