Good commercial,  probably between
5 times and 10 times monthly turnover

Don't want to give away to much at the mo but London up  M4  to Berkshire area, all work concentrated

Some sites are window cleans only others  require annual gutter cleans with Gutter vacuum system

Rather sell select commercial jobs and concentrate on local houses, reducing  clerical work,

I will keep local commercial work, Its the sub contract work along with sites furthest away I'm looking to sell

Hi Steve

I could well be interested, I live in Berkshire and cover up to Beaconsfield at the moment with commercial work we do. We have all the relevant equipment to do this type of work. I am looking to take on more commercial work. Can I contact you direct?

Thanks
Tom

The value of commercial work tends to sell higher but it all depends on what type of work it is and what contracts are in place and how long you have had the work for.

You will be lucky if it's subcontract work you are selling ,not something  I would purchase

Unless there are legally binding contracts in place then IMO it's value is affected by the risk. Personally I'd pay very little for any commercial work with no guarantees.

You don't get guarantees with any work you buy.
Just depends on how you feel about taking risks.
Do your research properly and buying work just always work out alright in my opinion.

We have been cleaning all sites that I'm looking to sell for 4-6 years, There are no written contracts in place just ongoing work

The  work isn't sub contracted to me, We sub contract a couple of the sites out

Has anyone bought or sold commercial work, what is the best procedure to transfer the work to the new contractor?

Make me an offer at 10 times my commercial work and I will sell you 10k worth of work per month, and slow down myself  ;D

That would be a cheque made payable for £100,000 please.

Hi Steve

I bought a substantial domestic round last year (with a couple of commercial jobs within it). We came up with a good way of transferring the work keeping everyone involved happy - most importantly the customers.

If you're serious about selling and could supply area details (just post code areas not the actual jobs) and a breakdown of the figures etc we could discuss further?

Thanks
Tom
