Righto guys, been back to a few jobs i did last year. People were happy with results but noticed a few darker stripes from my previous clean. Not on every job just a couple. Regularly change fsc nozzles and bar when it needs it. I keep it greased.
Just wondering about my overlap technique. Which way do you overlap? First pic or Second pic

Some surfaces just end up like that…nothing you are doing  is wrong.
I call them "clean stripes" …it's how flat surface cleaners -clean. A little wash with bleach at the end of the job evens things out.

The jobs look great when im finished them, no stripes 5he day i do them, just seems like some bits dont get as clean as other bits and get dirty quicker. But you can only notice it months after.

Just curious if people overlap half the fsc or move the fsc all the way over for the next pass. Does it make a different? Im guessing it does.

I overlap. But I dont do a lot of FSCleaning- I usually prefer lances.

I had this the other day, but as said above after the Hypo they vanished as if by magic !

I tend to overlap like the second pic going up and down then go side to side with the lance but still get the odd mark.

I tend to wash down with a turbo lance which I use in a figure of eight motion to even out any stripes plus like has been suggested a bit of hypo will even out the stripeiest clean

I tend to line up  the silver arm that goes into the yellow lid with the line of the unclean area.
