I just wanted to discuss these (and Vision !!), the recent thread about Vision and some people saying about living in the past or moving foreward encouraged me to think !! (bad i know :-) ) It does seem to me that many guys here (who are giving opinions at least ) are stuck in the mode of trad for some windows and WFP for the rest, there's no inbetweens or no other possibilities. I was pretty much like that myself.
I'm suprised that no one who has tried Tadgh's Beyond Kleen has commented further on it. I think i may have seen one comment (by Ross) to say it was good, i found it very good too. Has anyone else used it what did you think ? I found it great, much better than any other window solutions i've ever tried. And wierdly it leaves the glass with a ultra smooth feel after you've used it, so the claim that it only needs a subsequent clean once its been cleaned with beyond kleen not only seems right, its works in practice too. You can tell a mile off when you run a micro fibre over a glass that has or hasn't had Beyond Kleen on it. And that got me to thinking about the comment i read by someone here (deegee i think ? sorry if i got that wrong, i'll remove it if it wasn;t you) who said.......if some one started faffing around with sprays and wipes and cloth's i'd sack them. I thought about it because even though i think i'm cool and quick and good at trad, i've a few jobs where i do indeed faff about with sprays and wipes and cloths. I must be one of the few that clean the insides of a conservatory, which is in direct sun (ok, i know most of them are !! :-) ) but crucially, its a smoking conservatory. Its yellow, every time i go. I do it trad of course, spare on the water on the mop and you'll have streaks and smears galore, put the correct amount of water on to clean the glass, and it'll be clean. You'll be needing a mop and bucket afterwards though for the yellow crap that runs everywhere. But you'll have done a great job !!! BUt thats the scenario where i've found a product like Beyind Kleen comes into its own...........the house keepers can clean the rest of it, of course i realise what you do depends upon how you've priced. In short, you'll not see me any time soon cleaning high street store fronts with a little waffle cloth and a spray, but you might see me doing the openers with them !!! :-) Or a scrim, or even better a big waffle cloth, lets leave that for another time as we're on about the fluid tecnology !!! :-)
I mentioned to my mate about Vision, i'll be ordering some after i post this.........he said he'd had a guy on about a similar product. You can add it to your tank etc.... I picked a bottle up from him tonight............... M power, Glass and hard surface cleaner from
www.worldofclean.co .uk . I couldn't see it on their website, but i have it here. Came on a trial basis. 1.5 litre bottle, dilution ratio is...1:250/300 and says it can be added to your WFP ............. Anyone else tried or used this stuff ? I'll try it tomorrow but i reckon its nano tech stuff like Beyond Kleen ? It Aint going in my tank at any rate !! (see what i did there ? :-) )
And onto WFP and pure water................ i've found that although WFP is great, its results can somewhat leave something to be desired now and again. I'm well aware some of you will say....its your technique, its down to the operastor etc,,but as Dave W has pointed out so succinctly in his previous posts, its great, but its just aint..."all that" all the time. I've several offices, restaraunts and Hotels that i wash down with WFP and actually clean the windows with a squeegee. That way i can guarantee the results are good.
Also Dave in his post on GG4 had great results with it ? GG4 is the additive for hard water, GG3 would be the aadditive for soft water. Has anyone added GG3 to their tank ?
I'll look foreward to my trial of Vision anyway, as everyone is still living on Ionics claims about how good pure water is at cleaning, but seem to ignore their claim that PPB is better, its like a case of choose what info you want and work with that............
Lets see what Vision brings.............................
