Recently I ran out of graffiti remover which was used to remove pen from painted toilet cubicles (Which can be quite expensive). Someone told me if I bought a big cheap can of hairspray and used this on pen that it would work just as well. I tried this and sure enough it worked.

Does anyone else have any cheap substitutes for more expensive products ?
