It' s the biggest pump you can put on a gx390 and get the full out put. The 202 will only put out about 170bar@21lpm. Most users don't have a clue about machines so they are unaware of this.
Also near perfect jetting on your Flat surface cleaner will be achievable with the EVO pump.
Down side …some would argue…is no gearbox and the pump will wear out quicker. I'm on my second season with one which I have stripped and rebuilt just to see if there is any wear…there isn't. .

Hi Chris
You defiantly know about pumps sir , and yes i don't have a clue about any of these hence i have come to ask about it from guys like your the professionals.
This might sound daft question, but this pump doesn't look a brass pump, and i hear every one say the Brass pumps are the best ? is that true?

It is just a guide to compare machines (if you take the flow in lpm x Pressure in Bars and divide by 600) this will give you a number to compare machines – It’s not set in concrete but it’s not a bad guide.
Just to confuse you tho' . The machines you compare must be operating at the claimed out put.
So a ws202 /gx390 set up is claimed to be 200 bar @21lpm but in real life would be around 170bar @21 because the engine is not big enough.
Interpump quote for the pumps electrical horsepower…mechanical hp (what we use with an engine ) is different. So when inter pump quotes 10hp for a pump…it will need a 13hp "engine".
Adding to this a 13hp Honda gx390 engine is only about 11.5hp.
There are two "main" suppliers of GX390 /200 bar /21 LPM machines on the market . Jetmac and Q washers. ( I don't like either!) Although Q washers after sales is generally very good.
Pressure washers (the people) generally want to be bigger than the next company ,bigger tool (pressure washer) ,bigger nozzle,…bigger job. This does not mean the biggest pay packet.
These are only my opinions and somebody will be along to rip them apart shortly ;D

Come on then Chris - explain why you don't say why your beloved petrols will not run the 202 where a diesel of the same rated horsepower will

I followed the advise of Chris, I got in touch with Ben at Rutland pumps and he built me a machine. He also told me about the benefits and non benefits of the gear box, maybe 5-10 years ago 100% gear box but now days a direct drive is sound.

I love doing a bit of pressure washing

Not all Sales men talk fast  ;) you and me are sales men too  :) every time we go to a new customer, we are saleing   :) i am defiantly not a fast one  :) and i get 9 out of 10 Right  :) your advice was very good, but you didn't exactly tell me which company were the best to buy from,  :) after all if this guy sold me rubbish every one will know soon, cause i will put a feed back on this machine here, so if he is good, he will be success in his business and if he has sold me rubbish, it will be his downfall, so far i have heard good things about him so time will tell.
