Hi Chaps,
I run a window cleaning and property maintenance business, but also clean quite a few driveways. I am looking at a new pressure washer and have looked at petrol/diesel and electric.
I only do domestic for this type of work, mainly driveways/patios etc. some big some small areas.
Do you think that the Karcher professional range would be a good option for domestic use? expensive (around £1,200) but good quality kit, light and powerful enough for domestic work im sure.
Any advice on this appreciated, especially if any one uses an electric p washer. Diesel/petrol versions are good I know, but I think I will have access to electric 100% of the time.
May also not use a FSC, as I feel the lance works better for brickweave driveways, especially really dirty ones.

Absolute no brainer!!!

Why would you pay £1200 for a less powerful electric PW when you can pay less for a more powerful petrol/diesel PW.

Also you have access to electric most of the time as you say, you have access to petrol or diesel allllllllllll the time.

Even though you have access to electric you only have access to 240v  with a max of 13amp, this is equal to about. 3hp

Most PWers will use a minimum of 13hp machines, 

you can see the problem, an electric machine will never have the power to do a pro job in a decent time . Off course if you are willing to take 4 times as long to do the job  then it might work but then you have the customer watching you use a machine that they might have in the garage, not the best option
