Fiat Doblo Cargo is better than these, looked at all of them and got the cargo.

I have the Kangoo and haven't got a problem with it.

Neil

Is there much in size difference with the Cargo?

(Tried looking at vansdirect but can't get on the site for some reason)

Slightly bigger load space, has 1.9 turbo engine and does over 500 for a tank.

I bought mine from vans direct and saved loads from the main dealer.

website works www.vansdirect.co.uk

Yip, I went for the doblo too. Got it from vans direct a couple of months ago. If you get the one with the bulk head its so quiet its just like a car and really comfy... in fact its nice just to sit there instead of work...

I have a Peugeot Partner (same as Berlingo) - well pleased with it.  Difference between it and the Kangoo is that the Kangoo's roof is slighty higher - bit more of a stretch to get the ladders on top.

I believe both have the same Peugeot diesel engine which is tried and tested and very reliable.

The Berlingo/Partner have a better residual value in the market place - tried and tested. I would always suggest you look at the 800kg payload model rather than the more popular 600kg. Side loading doors are also worth considering for access.

If you look at the Renault Kangoo try the equivalent Cubistar at Nissan as prices are better.

Get an escort 1.7 diesel excellent van i have the one without powersteering so going around corners and parking is so easy..
It does about 200 miles for £30.00 worth of diesel and the performance is amazing you can overtake anything as long as it,s stationry.

god i need a new van but in all fairness its past the last 3 mots without costing a penny god knows how??? ;D

Ive got a 1.8 escort diesel, 200k on the original lump (watch them cam belts), there is a switch on them that helps with overtaking!,turn the headlight switch fully on and invent a 3rd lane, (not advisory for use on country lanes) ;D,it doesnt make it go any quicker but people can see your trying, Ive used it to great effect on wide A roads, its great for forming a good relationship with other drivers, most give at least a wave, and its amazing the amount of people who are deaf and use sign language, the overtaking switch should not be used in sign written vans, unless of course its borrowed, Andy  8)
