I'm trad, and I clean in all weathers. Except heavy rain.  :D

Do all our shops in any weather though, as the contract is, every 7/14/28 days. What shop would cancel a weekly clean because the guy did it in bad weather??

I'm not really desperate, no mortgage anymore, and no debt.

If I've had a sense of humour failure, just let me know, as I'm getting old.  ;D

I work in all weathers other then those hurricane storm remnants we get once a year or so.
I run a tight ship, like to keep everything on schedule and not let the weather dictate when I'm going to work.
This is Britain, it rains every other day so you just have to get on with it.

Yup, I'm trad too, and clean my shops in all weathers. Custards are happy to have them kept clean, which is the whole point, is it not?

Just an observation, if a wf poler works in rain, it's all good, but if a tradder does the same, he's desperate?  ;D

Haha you just reminded me of an old guy local to me who I spotted cleaning shop fronts at about 9pm in the dark, mid winter. He was wearing shorts too lol

Dave, I know you don't normally post rubbish mate, but sometimes I have my first shop at 6 am because of local by laws meaning I have to be out of the pedestrian areas in town by 8 am. In winter, guess what, it's dark at 6 am  :o

Still work. If that guy's working that late, he's either part time, or a very busy boy. Good luck to him.

Always look for the reason behind what people do, and not take the mick. It can backfire mate. ;)

Their is an old boy who cleans shops in a village near me.

He is 72 and starts at 3pm, works through to about 8pm twice a week, his custies call him Ronnie midnight.

He says it keeps him active and out of hospital.

We had to clean our Sainbury's outlet stores in the dark in winter. They had to be done before they opened at 6.00 am.

If the internal lights are on its easy to clean them.

Did the local waitrose with frankybadboy just before it opened, started at 2pm (ish), and were there until 10.30pm

Off out now for 6 or 7 hours, home to see the family / for tea then got a big commercial to start at 8pm this evening, needs cleaning out of hours, probably take 3 of us just short of 4 hours.

Does that make me desperate Dave?
