No to mount my new pole on. http://www.screwfix.com/p/rothley-heavy-duty-steel-storage-hook-red-vinyl-coated-205mm/50703?_requestid=348387
They are ace. Pole sticks to them

I feel your pain Duncan, I was in the same position. Tried twice, customers looking at me like I'm nuts. Trying again tomorrow!

Do these brackets fit in your van? Would they be good for my Ford Transit Connect?

ive never lost a customer by cleaning their windows in strong winds.ive gotta go back to 2 jobs tomorrow that i cleaned last week as some windows were awful!but generally most are ok.

TBH id rather risk losing the odd customer or go back and re clean rather than take a whole day/week off cos of the wind.

Just blame vision , Desmond . Lol

We produced a good product , but it's not a miracle to work with in sleet , heavy rain and high winds .

That bracket looks very good .
Like you say the pole grips to it and prevents movement and vibration and hence the bracket secures better against your ply-lining

I had to go back and squeegee some after wfp ing them yesterday daz

I was working all day on a big hill so some gusts were strong, one blew the bucket over haha i know its windy when that happens,

Had a good day earnings wise despite all that though , like someone said earlier just re do any complaints and be glad you didnt have a day off sulking :)

If you clean twenty houses , chances are 1-2 at most will moan and everyone will understand you cant hide at home everytime the weather is anything but ideal.

Is it me or are window cleaners getting less hardcore :) imagine how the ladder guys got on, i did a few on ladders yesterday and me bum was twitching

Now that's not worth it, Sean.
If it blew your bucket over on the floor, it ain't gonna take much to blow you off the ladder. (Not a WFP v trad comment) Just if you're nervous, that's risky.
