OH miss read it sorry.
Also this one not going to get a loose/wobbly movement after a week or so using.
Unlike other ones that wear very quickly at the swivel point.

I do quite a few shop windows every week and have tried wagtails which I found very quick once you get used to them. The problem was, as you point out, they don't last and are not very durable. The last one i used was, I think, an Ettore and it broke after 3 or 4 weeks.

How long have you been using you home made one and has it with stood being dropped etc? Thanks.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

This one have been using about 4 month now as you may see that we have a Sorbo channel on it also.
so not going to bend or break in a hurry.
Also the swivel has no movement ether.
Because we have put a metal sleeve in the disc screw/bolt is smooth where the disc is.
there are few other modifications done also
But everything works like it's new.

The Wagtail is a good concept but it was not thought through properly.
Have done many modifications over a number of years.
Mainly Wagtail squeegees.
It seemed that the weakest point was the swivel as said this particular point wears the hole in the disc.
Caused from the small threaded screw/bolt that goes though it.
Of cause you then tighten the screw will not fix the hole that has been worn by the screw.
There are many other ideas we have done also regarding the Wagtail.
Many other ideas relating to window cleaning and put them up on YouTube.
You can check them out on this https://www.youtube.com/user/WindowCleanerBloke;
Or we also have a FaceBook DIY Group that that addresses the very thing you are talking about.
And there are many other ideas /fixes relating to window cleaning.

Hello!!!

Are you selling these

No not selling them.
At this stage.
But maybe the manufacture might incorporate some of these  ideas into there own squeegee.
Just ask him why he hasn't.
