 i have just looked at my tds into my water butts and it is 001
the thing is i filled my 1 ltr di 17 days ago i use about 250 ltrs most days not at weekends so about 12 to 14 days of it running dose this sound about  right or is the resin going a little too fast my ro tds going into resin is 2/3ppm the sum i did was  365 days in a year divided by 17 days is 21.47 is 21.47 the number of ltrs of resin i will use a year if so this is not to bad  thanks all   stu
ps would you still fill up your tanks with 001ppm or change it today

Hiya Stu

Its actually only a 700ml cartridge you have there so you are doing fine. Some will work with water at up to around 10 tds from what I know but as soon as my TDS starts to climb above zero I change the resin. You gain very little by letting the TDS climb but you could lose a lot in terms of good results. Another reason I do this is that if there is ever a problem I can immediately rule out water quality issues.

mine is 005 right now, i have a 1 L bag of resin sat on my desk

it'll get changed in the new few weeks

i only use 150 L a day MAX

give the resin a shake...should get it down to 000TDS for another week or so.

Good shout Steve , you cant beat a good shake , nowt finer to get the tds back to 000
