Why does window cleaning work like this? Seems pretty pathetic is fists are going to fly. To be fair the guy can do what he wants. I could shop at sainsburys for 20 years and asda may throw me a offer to tempt me to shop there. It's my choice. If you provide a good service you should not be worried.

Your on the wrong forum with that view mate. Only unhappy customers will switch, so you are just winding yourself up for no reason.
You get on with your business and he will get on with his, simples.

Tbh mate it is one of them............... I know you say you already been there 16 years and yes within rights you feel it's yours, and yes it's very frustrating for you to think he gets 1 then 2 then 5 ..............anyone can work anywhere and you just have to hope that your customers will stay loyal. It's how it is.
If you can't sort it out then punching his head in isn't really guna solve it, if I was you I would try an sort it out civilised,
If I was the other fella an you gave me a crack I would target your work something silly at crack head prices to screw you over and you don't really want that either.
It's how it is in business if he does take some of your work go and target his and he may think twice about it

Don't take this wrong mate but you don't own the street.

Good luck

ways of poaching your work...
Undercutting- if he undercuts you then you don't want that type of customer anyway.

Does a better job- I have taken a lot of work from the traditional lads round my area since i started cleaning frames and doors included with the price.

Your attitude/time keeping- some customers like you there on time every month, and get sick when your late etc, or you might have a bad attitude with customers( I don't know)

At the end of the day... Anyone can go and poach my full round and I bet only 1or2  would leave! I personally think the people who get angry when someone's canvassing are the people who cut corners 👍

What a top hat  ;D

Have you signed up all your customers on legally binding contracts?

Business is business - if you do a good job and they are happy they'll tell him 'no thanks'

If they dump you either take a look at yourself or conclude they'll dump him just as fast as the next cheap windy comes along

Either a wind up or this thread did not go the way he intended it would go.
