Hi mate I've used protectacote in two of my vans and it works well for me,can't remember the cost but I think it's about £80 for a two litre tin inc of roller and gloves, two litres was enough for my expert van

I had my van floor applied with speedliner and it's great ,it is expensive but I see it as an investment.
I am yet to see a van that's been protectacoted that does not look like its wearing away afte 6 months.
Some of the guys recommend fibre glass as a cheap and effective floor protector.

I didn't bother at first with protekta coat at first, 6 months later I bought it from corwoods, nice and blue now. It is worth it mate, and I think it cost £65+ vat

Just put a nice thick coat on with a brush, and repeat next day again.

Good stuff and not at £650 ??

U can put a few layers down but it's not goin to be smooth, quite the opposite, nice and ruff

Cheers Guys ok thanks I have a feeling the £650 option may be for speedliner then as the one in my vito is smooth and raised to meet edges and fitted by aqaufactors that are quoting for this one again.

The speedliner I had done was arranged by grippatank it cost around £600.
It is expensive but I think it's very good stuff.
Contact speedliner and the should be able to give you the number of a centre near you.

Don't get me wrong I know people that have used protectocote and rate it.

Thanks for the mention CGH.

We offer a lifetime guarantee on the speedliner product and we can even collect the vehicle from you. Usually a package price can be arranged on the package when a system is also purchased. What size vehicle have you been quoted for?

Hi Grippa tank

I have been quoted that price for a traffic sl27 swb unfortunately I already have the system so am just paying to have it switched over talking of which can you do a driveway switchover service even though its from a different manafacturer?
I WILL be buying grippa tank for my 3rd one hopefully later this year though what would you quote the speedlining at and switchover if you can do it? if you want to email me direct its whitbreadswindowcleaning@gmail.com

If you can diy a fiberglass floor I'd go with that over protectakote
something like one of these roof kits
http://www.fibreglassdirect.co.uk/roofing-materials-and-kits/roofing-kits/5m-fibreglass-roof-kit.html

will do that with my next van
My current peugeot expert has protectakote that's worn a bit so am going to re do it with a 1 Liter tin and put one of these mats  over it so it doesn't chip so easy

yes you can
I've linked mark munro's youtube video here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFc1cxIF2xA

Reckon its the way to go if on budget and have choice between that or protectakote.
Looks like it works better on ply, bare van floors have a moulded pattern that causes spillages to collect in them, a smooth surface will give a better finish. just make sure the underside of the ply is bone dry before you start.  ;)
