pump problem
« on: February 21, 2015, 05:22:18 pm »
Hi I bought prochem endeavour about a month ago but yesterday was the first time I've actually used it,as I started cleaning the carpet the spray kept stopping ?then it would come on a few minutes later.

It's still under warranty so it's going back Monday morning but just wondered if anyone has had this problem?I felt abit gutted as I spend abit of money on it could it be a air lock?

Also when you have to much cleaning solution left in the machine how do you get it out ? Would it put to much strain on the motors to suck it out?

do you have a priming hose?, it can be air in the system
also look if the inlet filter isnt blocked by dirt

Where have you been storing it?  Has it been left in the cold where frost can get at it?

But does sound like an air lock, as Radek says use a priming hose to bleed air lock first.

If you dont have a priming hose you can get a male qc and a threaded hosetail and a metre of hose, runbthe pump for a few mins with the regulator fully unwound
