Evening to all of you,

What is your most favourite spotting, stain removal kit - from witch solutions would you build up such a kit.

It is not just for my usage but for all of us to share skills and experience to improve better quality services.

If you are happy with idea, feel free to share it here.

Would you like to add any other aspect regarding stain removal? Again go ahead posting it down here.

I carry a bar of laundry soap & Nail brush in my pocket, any stains that don't rinse out are rubbed with that then rinsed again, this gets out 90% of remaining marks.

Any marks that don't come out are the specialist stains that require either a bleach or solvent

I routinely use..
 sod' met'
HP with ammonia
Acetone
POG

Yes, if they don't rinse out then sod met, but it depends on the carpet fibre, manmade they could rinse out with just  fresh water

I thing the Chemspec spotting kit is the most comprehensive, even includes dyegone. Comes in a good quality zipped bag.
The prochem one is also good and comes in a sturdy carrying case. Both look the part when in the customers house.

same as mike, plus craftex rust remover, and thats pretty much all i need. not the soap though but might give that a go cheers mike.

Creighton the yanks use purex naptha stain remover soap bars.

Prochem seems good choice. A bit expensive comparing to Chemspec but with this case it looks professional.
I'd take Prochem

As my competence at mixing presprays improves I finding that less and less I need to resort to spotters. There are a few things however that will not be removed with any recipe of prespray. Rust remover, cellulose thinners for paint, meths, solvent gum for chewing gum and isopropanol are in my spotting kit. Then I have a bleaching kit with peroxides, sodum met with iron and a ultrasonic gun.
