Sorry but I can't really see what improvement that gives. The cable tie isn't tying anything it's just wrapped round the hose or is it me?

I use one myself just like that.+1 it also helps prevent the pole hose being accidentally pulled out of the push fit connector as my pole hose just comes out through the resi neck on the slx/extreme.

Which way does it pull out? From the Brush T connector or the straight connector inside the pole?Whichever it pulls out of, fitting the locking red clip (supplied as standard on the brush T) should cure the hose pulling out of the connector.
All very simple but where do you get the piece that fits onto the pole and the bracket
