Best pads for cimex
« on: February 19, 2015, 08:00:46 pm »
I'm doing a lot more encap jobs nowadays and have a cimex. What are the best pads to buy/use?

I have a cr48 cimex, I use buff/ white pads most of the time, they are quite cheap about 85 pence each
I know csuk sell fibre plus type, think they lasta bit longer but are three times the price

I have a cr48 as well. Brilliant piece of kit. Weighs a god damn tonne but my word you can clean bloody quick with it.  I've done several nursing homes with it and has paid for itself several times over now.
Stuart where do you buy the buff/pads from??

We have 8" Zebra pads which work well with encap products.

John

I tried the zebra pads on a low profile carpet a few months ago with the cimex and I wasn't impressed,
I found they gave very little contact with the carpet, maybe a longer piled carpet or if you had the larger big boy wheels on the cimex it would be better, for now I am using Tan / Buff pads

I use the releasit pads and find they cost penny's as they last so long. Johns zebras are good as well.
