For sale my vauxhall vivaro 2700 cdti swb,registered 17/07/2008,
This van has only 1 previous owner,drives perfect,recently had new front & rear brakes,also had 4 new injectors at a cost of £1300 receipt available,I'm only selling it
Cos I've got a bigger van coming,so I can keep gutter vac & pressure washer in aswell as wfp system,I think there is about 3 months mot on it,but I could get it tested for a year, I want £3500 for it,if you want the ionics 650 ltr system leaving in with hoses I want £4500,but I'm happy to take out,cheers dale

sorry mate  its just  that  mine has been  the most unreliable piece of crap I ever bought  and I just want to warn other people  about these vans.
its done 20 k  fully serviced  and never driven hard   from new

Couldn't disagree more. I have a prima star that I have had 8 years on 06 plate. Had a clutch at 64k which is down to them having a crazily designed servo. Aside form that a bloody brilliant work tool.
Had one injector replaced and a couple of silly sensors over that time but nothing too outrageous.

Ours has just turned 150k and drives as well as when I first got it..

and for the record I also have a master and an iload and would still put the prima star above them

I have the Trafic version of this van.  As any van gets older you must expect to open your wallet from time to time to part with several hundred pounds.  You can't expect a brand new van for a second hand price.
Mine has done 123,000 now and has ended up being recovered to the garage four times I think in the last six years.  I don't regard that as disastrous really - it's bound to happen sometimes.  The most expensive bit of all this is waiting for the garage to find time as they are usually quite busy.  I just hire one and work from a backpack for a few days if necessary.  I intend to chop it in in the summer.
At some point I may even invest in a 125 litre trolley for those times when I need to hire a van.  Strap it in, take the battery out at night for re-charge, and use it as a mini van mount.

You can get lucky. I brought a 52 plate transporter with 62,000 on the clock 5 years ago for £3600.00. Done over 150,000 now, all I've had to replace is a drive shaft,  changed the cambelt twice and cleaned the starter motor twice. It's serviced every 10,000 miles and does about 35/38mpg. Grat bit of kit and could probaly get more than I paid for it now.

i no 4 people with vivaros all over 100k an they have had no probs the 2.0cdti is the one to get with the 6 speed box injectores can go at low milege but its due to water driping on the engine as the seal brakes poor design but if u check it reguler an when it does start leaking get your garage to reseal it an u will b fine its all about reguler servicing as well as long as its bin serviced on time they will b relible

even the transaits hav probs like the 2.2 in the custum the injectores can burn a hole in the piston an nacker the engine its just bad luck in some cases u take your chance with vans
