extreme section 1

Have to order a section 1 for my extreme pole. Been on gardniers site and in the description does not mention the aluminium bands just says coloured stops. Just wondered why

I like idea of bands to extend the life of it,  I just cheated with black powder from  the magic of  Q-bond
