Looking into an upgraded gutter vac and this has staggering power.

Anyone using it and what's it like?

Actually it looks like I may be wrong Avo.
I wondered because 3000 watts (2 x 1500 motors) is pretty much the max you should draw from a 13 amp supply as far as I know.
But looking at the specs you posted it does look like it is 13 amp.
The plug might get hot!  ;D

You gotta stay warm in the winter these days 😄

Air flow seems loads 3600 x2

The nilfisks I'm told are excellent, maybe when the omnivac dies I'll get one,

Lee Pryor uses nilfisk, don't know which model but it sucks and blows, drop him an email

So far this is the best one i have found:

https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/nilfisk-multi-30t-wet-dry-vacuum-cleaner?da=1&TC=RV-050512288

It Sucks, it blows all at the front, its nice & small, so you can move it in any tight areas, and the suction is brilliant as long as you keep the filter nice and clean after every job.

Correction..
Used to be good they've moved the wattage down to 1400 from 1800 on the new ones no where near as good.

Hi AVO,
You won't go far wrong with the Nilfisk Alto Attix 961-01 Single Phase Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner as an upgrade to the multi 30T, older 1800watt machine.
Machine Mart is the cheapest around at the moment for the 961-01 and spares are readily available for this machine.
Spending £675 you might be able to get another machine as good or better from Kev Martin, ask him I am sure he will be able to do a deal for you.
Regards
Andrew.

This is one of the vac's that Kevin sells
http://www.tilinglogistics.co.uk/Floor-Polishing-Grinding-Machines/Flood-EQPT-Industrial-Wet-Dry-Vacuum-3x100watt-motors

I have used one and it has massive suction with all three motors running but it is huge.

That is the one I bought from SkyVac/Spinaclean a while ago now. Brilliant machine. I paid a bit over the odds as I got everything from them, tools, poles, camera etc. But I wanted one company for everything and their customer service has been great with some issues I have had. Ultimately has the machine earned me money? Yes.

The size of the machine is important.. There don't seem to be anything small and compact with big power.

Hi Avo,
Sorry not got back to you sooner, but I see that Rob@blastoff has linked a vac he has used from Kevin Martin @ tilinglogistics.co.uk. Kevin is on the Kings Road Birmingham and the Web page is tilinglogistics.co.uk.
He is also listing on fleabay under tiling-logistics which you may find easier to navigate through as it has a section on wet vacs+rotary scrub/scrubbers and you can see all available.
You will see he is listing a 90 litre 3000w machine (green top) which is £399 del which I like as it has switched separate motors which makes it very flexible and without speaking to Kevin I would assume in the unfortunate event of a motor going down on a job at least you have two others because of the individual switches to call on(unless you are using all three at the time).
The larger skyvacs have this individual switching which I think is useful.
Also as you will see Kevin can modify the inlet and pipe to 50mm from the supplied smaller bore good for guttering. But you will see that from the listing.
I know you said size matters to you!! But I have not come across anything with a smaller tank as it is not a problem to overcome for us.
Is the size concern due to storage at home or transporting?
The only thing I haven’t compared is the air flows between each as some quote L/m L/s etc but that is easy enough to get to terms with when comparing.
We in due course will look at a larger machine but are happy at present with the older  multi 30T with the larger motor.
My remit on a machine would be 50mm flexi and input, separate switching to the 3 motors and of course the best air flow, spares availability would also be looked at and also price. But as usual you get what you pay for.
We had a Kiam 3000w wet/dry machine which lots have people use, valeters etc but spare parts are a nightmare and expensive if available and plug got very hot. We got rid of it in the end and I wouldn't have another.
I have a friend who has the nilfisk you are looking at and is very pleased with it but operates it on the small bore pipe for valeting but I am sure a larger flexi etc could be sorted out.
Numatic have a range of wet and dry large vac’s that might be worth looking at.
I am old school buy once buy right.
Bit of a long piece but hope that all helps.
Regards
Andrew.

On domestic the nilfisk 1800 ticks all the boxes I've used this for 2 or 3 years without a problem with performance, just wanna bigger stepped up vac for commercial cleans. Thanks you all for your input it's giving me plenty to think about and I'll keep you informed on what I end up buying in the near future 😄
