Dazmond, I thought you loved Aquadapter hose? Don't say you've changed your mind on that too?

Gardiners did make a supple bright yellow hose once, can't remember what the downside was but I think it would burst with hot water. I have loads of hose in my garage but can't remember why it was chucked there. Idid use some streamline braded stuff once but got fed up with using a barbed connector at every push fit on every pole (three for every pole minimum).
Worst hose I ever tried was Aquadapter red and the orange - just wouldn't lay flat and couldn't be coiled.

is the hose in your garage the bright yellow gardiners stuff ?? if so & you want i'll buy it off you,   best stuff they ever sold

I use Streamline Lite 5 hose on all my poles. It's braided and is good (at least with cold water - I don't have a hot system) year round. Doesn't coil, lovely in winter and summer. However, you must thread it through the pole the right way. You'll soon know if it's the wrong way as it coils terribly. It will not go into the Gardiner's black T Push Fit Connectors without using a twin-ended barb to connect a piece of ordinary hose to the end of the Lite 5. I didn't know about http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/john-guest-fittings/metric-fittings/john-guest-8mm-stem-to-6mm-barb.html  which is what i'll use now.
