Just had new system fitted into van which looks nice but a few teething problems have arisen. TCW have offered to have a look but not until next Wednesday so because I'm off now until Monday I'll put a few questions on here to see if I can get the answers from here.
First question is why does user two van port flow with water even though the pump isn't turned on?

If your talking about exterior ports then your problem could be that they haven't installed QRC stop (one way valves)
as your ports, or do you have the black connectors still sticking out of the port as these will stop the one way valve
from working.

 Sparkle You just need to use one way valves and you wont need them stops.

There are one way valves fitted Sean but they weep slightly overnight even when pressurised. Simple enough solution.

The guy who fitted it kept saying something about dead ending it from the pump which I thought I had done

When you remove the hose reel connector the pump should D E and keep the system pressurised which seals the port. Only problem with that is when you switch off the pump the system will slowly lose pressure hence the weeping. (Only a tiny O ring in the hoselock connectors to keep the seal).

The stainless steel ones from gardiner /grippatank are much better and seal themselves with no pressure ....even reversed my van into a wall and hit connectors but still leak free.

Do you not have a gate valve fitted on the flow pipe from tank to pump ?
I have stop connectors  on outside ports,that drip after months of use.
I just turn the valve as above,at night that stops any leaks by isolating fittings on ports

After trying to dead end the pumps to stop leaks without any success I've turned water supply off until it can be sorted!

The flow problem could be due to a backfeed with electrical wiring. Simple enough to solve but you need tortoise wiring back from pumps
