Van currently sign written but TBH its too complicated as put too much on it when I had it wrapped 2 years ago.

My aim is to build up my window cleaning round again too 100% as realised cant get as much money doing add ons that regular window cleaning brings in so conny roof / fascia & soffits / gutter cleaning add ons are dropped unless its a current window customer.

Personally I think you cant beat a proper sign written van but thought I would get peoples opinions.

Get your van done and leaflets printed. Deliver the leaflets yourself to those not in when you canvass

In my opinion:
My first option would be leaflets. I'd leaflet the streets (or close areas) i'm already in, to make the round more compact.
Then obviously I'd work my way outwards.
Google Ad Words, I find, is too spread out for my liking and you get all sorts of enquiries. It still pays for itself but not ideal for building an efficient and reliable round.
Signwriting is good but as long as it says 'Window Cleaner', fundamentally that's all you need. Potential new custys are probably watching you clean anyway so they either like the look of you or not. (Naturally I look good in any situation).
600 squid would buy a lot of printed and delivered leaflets and i'd expect 4 new custys per 1,000 leaflets.

I disagree, I think add ons bring in better money. A conny roof at a minimum of £70 and done in an hour is better than my window cleaning rate.

Did a leaflet drop in a large estate near me the other day. All big houses. I would say 50% had signs up saying NO COLD CALLING. Put me off knocking on doors a bit. I can cover 50 to 80 housed in 1 hour dropping leaflets.
On the bright side. I bumped into a local news agent dropping some thing off. He was an old school pall. He asked for me to drop off 600 at his shop and he will put them in local rag

Possibly but not always i have slow trickle of work through website built by Nat , Its not a golden ticket but neither is a flashy leaflet campaign its a mix of things that work .

Their is a few lads that look like a rouges and drive round in a battered van and they still manage to gain regular custys .

Hi Ian, looked at your website, thought it was pretty inpressive, packed with loads of information showing what you do,and
great photo's, doe's it bring in much work? how does it rank on google search's for your area coverage, if it is not ranking
well on google search's, the SEO needs to be looked at, Nathan built my website for me and it went live august 2013, he told
me the seo would take about 3 months before I would start seeing any results, he was spot on, why don't you email him and let
him have a look at your website, he offers very good advice, seriously I rate him very highly, he really knowe his stuff.

yup brings in phone calls / emails not many but high quality and cant remember last time an enquiry wasn't converted to a customer ..... if I go into in private browsing which hides my cookies from previous searches if I google window cleaner Hawarden then its on first page
