Sucking dirt out of blocked brush nozel heads?
« on: February 11, 2015, 01:31:37 pm »

I know to get dirt out of the pencil tube things which spray water on the windows in the brush you have to disconnect the brush and suck it out from the back.  But how do you stop getting the sucked out dirt from going in your mouth or just have to spit it out?

Get a short length of tubing and fit it on top of the jet from the front (the bristle side), pushing it against the brush stock so it's reasonably sealed.  Then blow the dirt out.  A sort of dry spitting blow will get 'most anything out.

Just swallow it, all the way down too, man up, stop being be a wee toad. You can pass it out with the morning dump.

No need to thank me.

I've never had a blocked jet since starting in 2007 - am I doing something wrong? Don't you guys use a strainer?
