Aplan charge the same for a wfp system fitted van as any other insurer does for a van without wfp system fitted
If it's a non-fault accident A-plan supply a wfp fitted van which will be charged to the "at fault drivers" insurance company. However they also provide an additional insurance policy that provides the policy holder with a wfp fitted van if they have an accident that is their fault. I think it cost me an additional £85 on top of the normal policy fee. This suits me as im a sole trader with only one van to rely on and I know if poop happens I will be able to continue working with minmal fuss. However I understand that Number 23 doesn't have to rely on that type of cover as he has another van to use which allows him to be more flexible when shopping round for insurance quotes.
Just set my public liability insurance up with them - very competitive, even insured for any tax investigation - very handy.
The cube/tank will also have plastic eye hooks to secure the cube (will be safe, sounds dodgy lol)
£26 the whole package for five million cover inc glass being worked on came to £130
