Hi Ian,
No I don’t, I joined in this discussion to answer the question, how can a company make money by charging £8.50 for commercial and £7.50 on domestic cleaning, I have tried to explain, it’s on the volume of work provided and yes they do make money.
Members come on this forum telling others of their charges for office cleaning, £12-£30 per hour, yes on small jobs, all I’m pointing out is that, the big company’s can afford to charge a lot less for the service because of the number of clients.
Also I am pointing out that if a company quoted on a large contract of 40 hrs plus the hourly rate charged is reduced considerably.
Rob showed his concern about customers paying and this affect on a businesses cash flow, this as well as finding good reliable staff this is of course the most important thing in business, sending the invoices out on time and getting paid when they are due, this should be obvious to any person/s starting/taking over a business.
A lot of people on this forum would be surprised at prices charged for large office contracts, but profits are made in more ways than one.
Regards
BSF
