heres a guide for a primative version that somone sent me, exactly the same idea though!
1. Buy a pack of John Guest 22mm pipe inserts from B&Q - about £3 for 5 - Photo1
2. Slide out the No.1 section from a Gardiner (or most other brand poles) pole
3. Wrap tape around the stem of this fitting until it is a tight fit in the base of section 1 - Photo2 and 3
4. Slide a length of pole hose (either PU or PVC) through section 1 and exit through the new fitting at the base
5. Fit a Rectus male fitting to the base of the pole hose, ensuring that the clip is as close to the male fitting as possible - Photo 4 - Then push this tightly into the John Guest fitting as shown
6. At the top end of section 1 fit whichever gooseneck you want to use and then pull the pole hose as tight as possible out of the top of the gooseneck
7. Holding the pole hose tightly just above the gooseneck to stop it pulling back in, cut the pole hose above where you are holding it and push-fit on an 8mm-8mm straight connector with red locking clip already fitted to the pole hose
8. Let go of the pole hose and it will pull the 8mm-8mm fitting tight back against the gooseneck opening- Photo 5
9. Slide the No.1 section back down into the pole
10. Connect your brush to the gooseneck and then connect the Brush T to the gooseneck connector with a short length of hose - Photo 6
11. Remove the end cap from your pole and cut out a much larger hole with a sharp knife. There needs to be enough of a lip for the cap to stay in position on the base - Photo7 & 8
12. In use, connect the female coupling of the hose pack to the base of the pole, extend and use the pole - photo 9 & 9.1
13. When finished with the pole disconnect the female coupling by pulling back the collar and put the pole away
14. The complete kit of parts needed (most you should have already) - photo attached

This will take about 10 minutes at most to do

Are all first sections 22mm regardless of which size pole

Lol don't thank me I was sent it from somone else!!
As I say it's quite primitive but does essentially the same job of making your pole hoseless.

I have had no pole hose showing for a while now. I work a lot with a Trolley with 8mm hose but also work with Microbore on a Van mount. Its great having no connections from pole to reel.
I haven't had a single problem since doing it.

Hi cheshire,

If you tot up the individual components, what price do you come up with.

The kit is an easy no hassle set up off the shelf, Its also a concept that we has a company have spent time/money/Patent applications on.

You only need to buy the kit at stage one, the other poles you have just inserts and male fittings.

You say its expensive, but as it will make life easier and protect your fittings upto 5 x longer, thats the difference.

You do not have to buy our kit, if do not wish, we are simply introducing a new product into the market.

Steven.

hi Steven thanks for getting back I apreciatte your comments as you probably apreciatte the feedback too!
For me it looks like your selling a couple of rectus21 fittings which are what £5-6 then a sleeve and a rubber insert a few quid, hose clips and a hose connector £4-5 max, forget the pole hose and forget the top pole insert as they're no good to me personally, I'd happily pay £20-25 which I think is fair and you make plenty of profit on that!
Sorry if I'm missing something or undervaluing this kit and If so please say but I'd think you'd sell more kits at a cheaper price without the hose or that pole insert at the top as many wouldn't want those like myself and I think you mentioned in a post recently how you don't supply the Aquadaptor inc in the price of a pole anymore as some people don't want that well to me this is the same here.
You should consider supplying just the fittings with the sleeves as it won't be long before other companies are knocking similar but different kits out too!
Hope I'm not offending but I'm just offering my advice but I only speak for myself and you'll know the market better than me!

It's funny how some poeple only want to pay peanuts for things like Steve is trying to sell, and yet are happy to charge what really is a ridiculous for squirting was at a few windows and charging upto £50 per hour for it.

Time, design and a concept are all involved in the ejector sleeve so you that is what you are paying for, not the physical cost of the parts.

Anyone can clean a window, but not everyone has the ability to think of a concept and end up with a finished product they are able to sell

Wish I could earn £50 an hour pal and if you think it's just squirting water at the window then you need some education on wfp!!!
I appreciate Steve has put time effort into this idea but I'm just saying that if he took those bits out I mentioned which also includes the foam base protector as some may not need that either then he could sell it cheaper and surely still make a profit on the bits I've mentioned, gardiner sell they're clamps as a kit form and also you can buy each clamp or part individually, maybe it's an idea for Steve or maybe it's not but also its could be one of the reasons why everyone buys gardiner products as you can buy every bit separate rather than a whole kit price?
As I said I don't want to insult or knock Steven but surely the rectus and sleeves with a few clamps can't be worth a lot and he could sell them and make double profit without the other bits and still make money unless I'm missing anouther cost factor but all he's made are the sleeve and bung as the rectus fittings are available everywhere else!!

Sorry chaps, can't be bothered to read the whole post but are you sending the reel hose up your pole when extending it?

Your not sending microbore /minibore  reel hose up your pole, there is 50ft of pole hose on the reel.

It's a typical example of this market. Look at all the £50 per hour guys, them watch the "where's the cheapest" threads that follow!! ;D

Hmmm, I like the idea but I also like the flow valve within reach and wouldn't want the aquadapter/aquastop thingies.

i can safely say im none of those guys, i earn £20-30 an hour max and would never get near £50 no matter how much i rushed and thats working in the dry, i would never work in the rain myself, this week has been one of the worst i've had in a while so im not one of these guys who have lots of money and one of the reasons i ask about prices etc, even if i was making big money i'd still like a bargain who wouldnt!
sorry Dave i misread your post as Trev said you are only sending the pole hose up the pole like any other pole except theres one piece permanantly fixed in the top section and the rest can disconnect when the pole is closed up again!

Well said Lee, chesire your indignant response to lees post made me chuckle, your doing to Steve what Lee did to you, yes a rectus fitting maybe a £1 and the hose 20p etc.. However the ejector sleeve I would have said is pretty much bespoke even if he got that item for £2 your not allowing anything for his development time, costs investment, stock, and to earn a living, it's also convenient just to buy one, it would cost me more in time to faff about getting that together than the £45 just to order it.
Of course if you value your time at £0 p/h then make one.
