How does the water travel up through the pole to the brush?

How does the water travel up through the pole to the brush?

The first section has a length of pole hose inside it that has a ez-male connector fixed in a central position at the base, this hose runs up the centre of this section from the base to the brush end and comes out of the angle adapter or is fastened straight into the aqua-dapter. So when connecting the rest of the hose, you click an ez-female connector to the ez-male connector and thats it in place. When the pole is extended/closed this connection/hose travels up and down with the first section. Hope this is understandable, its quite difficult to put down in words.

Patience prevailed, order made Alex. I was a pain in the ass so the picker probably got out 10-1 in my case  ;D

I'd love to see one of these ex-ceed poles in action though, if anyone has one locally to Swindon

I would assume that the only hose within the pole is the length of the pole when closed,  then when you plug your reel hose into the fitting on the pole it just takes the hose off your reel as you extend..

thanks for that Trev , I understand it now. But surely with micro or mini bore running up the length of a fully extended pole its going to make that pole very heavy?

The reel hose doesn't travel up the pole. On your reel you have your microbore/minibore, connected to that is 50ft of pole hose, this is on your reel, this is what connects to the pole. So you only have pole hose going up and down your pole.

So is the long pole hose that is connected to the reel able to cope with being pulled from the reel and being dragged around corners etc?And what is the connection like from micro/mini to pole hose like with the rigours of being pulled , does it ever disconnect?

I pull the pole hose off the reel until I get to the connector, then I grab the connector and walk to the job pulling the microbore hose, going back to the van I also walk back holding the connector and pulling the microbore back.
The connection has one of the following on to protect it, this connection never needs to be disconnected, but is easy to do if needed:

so thats the coupler that connects pole hose to reel hose ?

Nice review, good to see the pole is of decent quality.

For me the tubeless connection would not be time saving, and would just add yet another connection into the mix, ie.  Connector inside pole, connector from pole hose to microbore hose.  As yet never had an issue winding pole hose onto reel and never need to disconnect pole after each job.

The very best bit, that's been totally underrated is the quick release flip fast, I didn't like the quick loc system so brought one of these, it's bloody ace! I now have converted all my angles goosenecks to quick release ( easy mod ) I now can change brush head faster than the quick loc way.

No that's the protector that goes over the ez-snap fitting or the pro26 fitting

i really like this idea although calling it hoseless is abit gimmicky as its only part hoseless when disconnected!!
a couple of things for me, ive heard from a few people theyre great poles but somone told me the blue hose kept coiling for them but maybe as its new.
i was thinking about buying one unfortunatly ive just bought a new slx in oct so no need for a new pole yet but i fancied trying the hoseless system myself on my gardiner and wanted to order the protective sleeve for the rectus and theres no where on the exceed site to order one, that puts me off as you can buy every single part on the gardiner site and i want to know i can be able to buy a single part if i needed to?
next the price, i thought these looked a really good deal with the hose system and a aquadapter but looking at the prices now they dont include the aquadapter and a 22 full carbon is £20-30 more than an slx22 and you get a brush with that.
these are my only issues with this pole as ive heard nothing but good things about the pole itself and im pretty certain that disconnecting the hose from the pole will save time wrapping up when finished.
for me though at the moment gardiner havent been knocked off theyre perch!!

Hi  cheshire window cleaning services,
Im actually thinking of making conversion kits to fit a number of poles, gardiner poles included.
I will make a brief video showing exactly how to diy your poles.
Steven.

hi mate, i remember you briefly selling them then started doing them by post only and then nothing, i think it would be a good idea pal as i understand you could be concerned that maybe people will carry on buying other companies poles but with your fitting but i think if your poles are good enough over time the reputation of them will encourage people to buy them, as i said ive only recently bought an new slx22 and an slx39 but who know in the future if people are still rating your poles then i'll definatley be considering them!
i cant see fitting the kit an issue at all, ive part made my own kit from the post going around where you use a 22mm plastic radiator hose insert but its the rectus fitting ive not had time to find a decent rubber sleeve, if you sold the fittings at the right price i'd be interested in a kit!

Your thinking exactly what I thought the system was. Its the same but rectus is in pole and thin pole can be wound onto reel because it has a straight connector like the long blue thing in link. We need a pole hose that's like reel hose. No knots or kinks. That way, it would be ace

cheers pal but to be honest thats way too expensive for what is basically just a couple of rectus fittings with sleeves, abit of hose and that top tube fitting which i wouldnt use!
if you sell the rectus fittings and sleeves separately i'll have those off you and i i presume you'll be selling them separately sooner or later anyway for customers who require individual parts rather than the full kit if they need replacements?

Well done Steven, it's great your making the conversion kit available.
At £45. It's a fair price for a concept you've brought to market.
I have just finished my fourth week with this tubeless system. Having a dry van and pole hose on the reel that keeps it from tangling, is a massive improvement for me.
Tony.
