Once I get a full round ill get more slap dash  :D

Im using about 25l on a semi up to 50l on a first clean

Don't worry about using too much water. Worrying about getting perfect results. Water saving will come later.

I use anywhere between 500 - 850 L A day on my own. I don't really care for water saving now :)

You talking about frosted windows? You can see more thru them than you may think. I would concentrate on all windows the same.

Once you master the technique you"ll save loads of water.
I don't tend to think of how many houses I can do with my water, more like how much many I can make with it.
So with my 400 litre tank I aim for around £150 plus a day, whether that be 15 £10 houses or 5 £30 houses.
Once you master it you"ll know roughly how much you can earn in a day with how much water you have.
The right setup is also critical ie brush, pole, water saving devices to how much you can handle, not just the size of your water tank.

I agree that speed will come in time once you have mastered the cleaning technique.

Count how many seconds it takes you to clean a window. If it takes you 90 seconds at your current rate then reduce the cleaning and rinsing time to 70 secs - unless there is something you really have to scrub off. Go back and check those windows to ensure they are cleaned properly. Then reduce it to 50 secs and do spot checks. If they are cleaned to a high standard, knock some more time off and again check your results. You may then be reducing the cleaning time by 10 sec or even 5 sec but keep trying. You will get to a stage where you know that the results aren't up to standard.

There will be times such as bad weather where you may have to revert to a longer cleaning and rinsing time per window, but then start to work again at reducing it.
Success is 1% inspiration, 98% perspiration and 2% attention to detail!

The older I get, the better I was ;)

I use a wcw backpack on the lowest flow rate. One pack full will do  two three bed houses and before you think otherwise the results are perfect. It`s all about confidence in your technique and the power of pure water. ::)roll

Im sure theres scope for experimenting with flow rates, and different ways of cleaning. At the minute I average 2 semis an hour inc pulling trolley in an out swapping barrels short drive between making sure I do a thorough job etc. Good thing is at the minute thats about 20 quid an hour turnover but I reckon I im only working at 60-70% efficency in regards water useage, technique, having the right gear etc.

Once I get up to speed this is going to be the best thing ive ever done cant wait.

Why on earth would you do that? A window and frame whether frosted or not should get the same attention. Do not skimp on bathroom windows, you will be surprised who is watching.

25 to 30, maybe even a few more, but not when I first started wfp
I use a pole tap which I use between windows which I reckon saves me a lot.

Dave , if his new to it and using a lot of water . It's best that he focuses on the visible windows more .
I didn't say or mean to do a shoddy job on frosted glass , I was just advising to pay more attention to the visible glass .

I saw a bizarre sight yesterday that will ensure you use zero amount of water..a chap with a d.i strapped to his back with pole in hand! I can only presume he put d.i into custys outside tap and worked off that. Gawd knows what his resin bill is though?!
