I was cleaning down today and I noticed that one of my hoses has a nick about the size of a 5p on it and in the middle you can see bare metal. I don't remember seeing it leaking.

Does it need replacing stright away  or is it ok to use for now?  Just wondering how durable these hoses are. Ive read storys about them going out with a bang dont really want that happening.

Replace it.
 Next it will stick in your fingers,then it will explode. Maybe wiping out mankind.

I have hoses with barely any rubber over the braiding - office hands may suffer but with mans hands they are fine. You could buy another hose but keep it as a spare length - depends how rich you are. Chrissy cannot have rough hands are they cause ladders in his stockings

Not bothered about my hands  I was just worried about it going on a job and not having enough hose.I have a 10m and a 20m, its the 20 thats got a chunk missing, so was thinking if the 20 went it would leave me a bit short.

Im having van problem at the mo so ill put getting the new hose off for a while I think.

I am mainly rubberless also…except for some clients.
