Gutter vacuum systems
« on: January 20, 2015, 09:39:41 pm »
Hi guys

Has anyone purchased a gutter vac system from these people? What are they like?

Just a bit worried that a £600.00 all inclusive  3000 W system with 28 foot pole is a bit TOO cheap.

Advice welcome please.

Rgds

What people.....I paid £990 for 40 foot system with camera....have yet to get my money back as I bought it just before Xmas and was busy with carpets...done 6 jobs with it but at the mo got a problem with the vacs.....I switch them on 1 2 3 and get suction for about 5 seconds then a little popping sound and the vacs still run but no suction.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

sounds like the float on the underside is being sucked up to the vac motor blocking airflow? This should only do this when the vac gets full of water and pushes the float into the vac motor cutting off suction so you don't flood the vac motor. Sounds like a faulty design issue to me
