why do I get the feeling this was pretty much a staged event to promote and advertise Reach-It poles.
Because it was called the Reach-iT UK Tour ?
JUst a guess mind, i don't know for sure .
That was subtle. I had to read it twice to make sure of that.
I'm all for a company promoting their own stuff. There's nothing wrong in that.
Alex Gardiner does that perfectly and I've never read or seen a video where he puts down another company so blatantly, or at all, and in any way that I'd call unscrupulous or any thing near it. He present his products exactly as they are with no reference, either blatant or subtle, to any other company or anything. Gardiner poles sells by reputation and quality plus incredible after sales service, all of which have been built up over time, and not by cheap advertising ploys.
The tittle was Reach -It UK Tour, yes, that's true, but I was not expecting what I watched. Very few company's make it by not so subtle slagging off of another company's product as the main thrust of their sales pitch and in a way that I personally consider dubious or economical with the truth about the other company's product.
For myself, I wouldn't now touch Reach-It poles with the proverbial barge pole and if what's his name and Lee Burbidge don't like that comment, take me to court for libel.
Had the video been purely about Reach-It poles and the pluses for using them, I may have given it some thought. Not now though. I don't know why but the word 'integrity' springs to mind.
