Do you use two pumps Tosh? I've just taken someone on and we're just using one pump and one controller with a splitter.
Yes, two pumps. I split the outlet hose from the tank and just run two separate pumps and controllers as if they're separate systems; apart from the power supply.
It was the way I was advised to do it on this forum.
Works fine!?
Up until now one pump is ok. The problem would be if it failed of course.
We use microbore (100m reel and a 60m reel); I think it's asking a lot to ask for one pump to push out through that.
But a knowledgeable friend tells me that diaphragm pumps are designed to be worked hard (he installs RO systems into things like cruise ships and understands all about pumps and RO systems on a massive scale).
So I dunno if one pump or two is good or not.
