customer paying by card

Hi everyone
have just had a new  enquiry from a commercial customer which would be a nice local job for me.
however they have said that they can only pay by card  ???
does anyone know how to go about getting one of those card payment things

you have to pay for it. Not worth it for 1 custy

it's quite a large depot with offices attached and only built last year so could be worth doing for the right price

I would be asking why?
No cheque book? How are the staff paid, bank transfer. Could they not do that for you.

Join Paypal and put the app on your phone this allows you to take a card payment but you pay a percentage
for this so allow for it on your price.

We use intuit very easy no set up costs and low fee no minimum use either it's all on the PF take card payments it's in your account in about five days set up very quickly online HTH mrs smudger

Sounds a bit funny to me tbh.
I've done a lot of commercial and not one single job has said they can only pay by card.
Sounds like you don't wanna go more than one clean behind. ;)

These are always processed for us on the office Pc so if u were doing it out in the field I guess u would need a signal or just get back to office and then call them for card details it literally takes less than thirty seconds to process a payment
