Chemspec Heavy Duty Soil Lifter has 2 butoxyethanol in and the ph 7.5 -8.5 its a great Pre-Spray for both Upholstery and Carpets, it aids drying time due to the high solvent ratio. Ideal for spotter also grease, tar other oil based stubborn spots. An additive to your Alkaline Carpet or Upholstery Detergent.

To HDS  and the spitfire stuff ?
The Prochem seems to be a blend of surfactant with propanol added  ...
The spitfire is a surfactant blend with the butyl glycol added
The HDSL is mainly a blend of about four solvents

* actually the HDSL is three solvents and a surfactant .
