To be honest most of us on here know what we want to buy before we even go to the site, so it's just a case of it looking slightly different. And when all the little problems are ironed out it will be quick to order. It's only because it's different to what we are used to that it might not 'seem as good as the last one'.

And for anyone new to window cleaning or Gardiners products it's a very 'salesy' website which is good for Gardiners.

Will I buy poles and equipment elsewhere because the new site might have a flashy bit too it? No I wouldn't.

So from a Gardiners business point of view I wouldn't be worried at all, it's definitely win for them and for all concerned.

I have gardiners site in my favorites but i have the link set to http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products.html so i don't see the home page.

The only thing that i find a pain is the quick view load time on my pc its around 8 - 10 secs but it might be my pc ipad is better for load times

We also have been monitoring this and the quickest the 'Quick View' (ironic I know) loads seems to be about 3-4 seconds which is still too long.  I have raised this with the developers and they are yet to get back to me on this.  I like the result of the Quick View, but if it can't be sped up it might have to go.

from not liking it at all its grown on me now ive been on it a few times and all the jumping pages that have gone seem much better and its fairly easy to navigate around now.

I have to admit I still prefer the old site and I don't think you'll ever get a more surfer friendly site than that as it was Abit more basic and even though you had to go through various pages to get to say an slx pole you got there easy enough by clicking through the pics in the squares, almost child friendly lol
I'm sure Alex had a long hard think about it and must have needed a drastic change to update the whole website so we just have to move with the times and I'm sure the more we use it the better or easier it will become, I personally wouldn't stop buying gardiner equipment just because a website wasn't great though but it is nice to go online from time to time and have a browse, this website doesn't encourage me to do that, I've spent money in the past that I didn't need to just by browsing now I'll probably just go on when I need something new.
