Going to push Direct Debit payments this year (GoCardless)
« on: January 05, 2015, 03:17:32 pm »
Hi All,

I've decided that I'm really going to push Direct Debit payments (GoCardless) this year... I have about 40 customers who use it at the moment - I'm going to try and convert more... But I'm also going get new customers to sign up before carrying out the first clean for them, making it the default payment method.

I re-arranged my "Windows Cleaned" slips this morning to make the Direct Debit payments option more visible... What do you think of it?

Looks great!

I've made this leaflet this morning, to add to my current slips. But when I run out of slips I will add the 'gocardless' method to that.

If you give them 3 options they will either not sign up or not  bother paying until it suits them via bacs . Give them one option only GoCardless .

for about 8 months custys have had 3 payment options and most just do bacs , All new custys have to sign up to Gocardless before first clean .

My free banking ends March / April this year .... I will no longer accept cheques as payment unless they pay an extra £1 on top for fees / taking to bank however will offer standing order / go cardless.

2014 seen me gain a few slow payers ... not many under 10 so they will be told standing order or go cardless from this months clean.
