I'm after a half decent pump sprayer. Hoping to be using it for spraying virosol on toconservatory roofs. I would love one where it could be used for spraying hypo on driveways and patios etc but they are out of ny price range. Doing a Google search does this look any good?

Why not get a gardiners backpack, battery operated, you utilise it for WFP cleaning or spraying chems.

I checked with Alex and ok to use hypo as long as you rinse out afterwards.

I have had a Gloria sprayer  (spraying xylene) for 8 years....It hurt paying for it in the first place but now it's a very cheap (rebuildable) sprayer.Bleach will kill it tho' .Careful pressurising bleach and spraying it.

Kevin , you only need a 5 or 8 Ltr Draper hand pump spray bottle , try  Toolstation or Screwfix £20 -£25.00 .

If using Hypo as Darren mentioned , drain and rinse afterwards otherwise seals will rot !

More than adequate for what you need however if you do want the Marolex it will be ok

I use the blue/green sprayers from b&q for £18

Just using hypo through them they last a couple of months. Pays for itself on the first job. Simples.
Buy two at a time. Use them for acid too but they dont last as long. IK sprayers are good for acid apparently.

I had one of those b and q sprayers explode on me matt. Literally explode.
i had hypo in it.

It exploded at the front of the house and i found one piece of it at the back of the house!

Yes mate. Buy extra hose as at some point you'll get a pin hose appear on the hose meeting the screw fittings then go worse. Rinse all through with water and don't leave with acid in, in between jobs. You'll end up having limescale building up in the hose and relief valve

You need a prv on any pressureised vessel or it could over pressurize and blow - stick to a gloria or other reputable brand - you are supposed to be a professional so you should have the right gear

I bought an IK9 about 2 years ago...Ive used it for spraying acid etc and still using it now. Really good sprayer!

I have an ik9 as well. Its been working well. Hypo, hydrochloric acid and other milder chems. I rinse it out after every use. I think i paid around £50 or so.
