Mine gets washed down on every pressure washing job as it usually gets covered in crap then just give it a quick scrub with the pole at the end of the week hardly ever use any chems.

2011 last Dec. Wash it when its bad or dealers wash it when in for warranty work lol. It wont fit in car wash and my gardiner brush scratches paint. Ill do it this holiday. Inside is clean

Which brush?

Get yourself the gardiners super lite flocked. That doesn't scratch paintwork and is perfect for car/van.

All brushes will scratch paintwork bud.
If you've got a white or silver van it won't be as noticeable but a darker colour will show the tiny scratches any brush leaves. I've a black van and car. Found out to the hard way.
A good valeter will never use a brush for this reason

Didn't know that!

I thought you got special brushes that were flocked for that reason. Oops.

Thanks!

I had a bloke who would clean it one side at a time when he was putting teh brush away at a customers house . One side Monday. one side Tuesday , one side Wednesday, and one side Thursday... When I asked him why he said it saved him doing it all on a Friday... lol And truthfully the van never looked that dirty ever...

A flocked brush on a van? Crack on mate.

I'm reluctant to do the van with any brush. A resolution from a few weeks back is the van is done with a cloth and rinsed. Once a week I'll go through a car wash.

I made the mistake of washing a brand new black car with a flocked Suerlight - scratched it all over, luckily it was the wifes.

Good little motors, Fiestas are! I've a '99 1.8 diesel van. It's very clean and presentable, but just needs a few minor touches to make it even better. Today, I've had all the wheels off and refinished them in silver. Next job is to refinish the bumpers, then touch in a few minor paint blemishes.

I would never use the same brush to clean windows and the van, what if you get oil or diesel on it? I have an old pole and vikan brush I use, once a week.

When something offensive gets written in the dirt.  If it's a good clean joke I'll leave it for a bit though.
