Here it is and a few questions.........





I'm very pleased with it, Electric start, thermal relief valve, external unloader,  looped hose bypass. 150 Bar, 11.5 LPM. I still havn't decided on a battery for it. Heres what it says on the side..........i'm guessing thats its charging output ?


So a 25 AH battery should do me ?


Outlet is a quick release. I'm going to remove this and i have a 3/8" to M22 adapter pictured ontop of it that i'll put on. I'd like to retain the chemical pickup option, anyone have a link to one with a chemical pickup , i can;t seem to find one ?


Supplied engine bolts are the wrong thread. Anyone know for sure what size i need and a source ? Or is it just suck it and see and a trapse around B&Q or summat ?



The water inlet, its a large course threaded thing. Anyone know what size this is or what i would need to connect it to a hose ?

Engine bolts are normally m10 but double check them.

The inlet, if you buy a suction hose from a pressure washer supplier they should come with it. Normally 3/4, but again just measure it.

Ok, i've sorted the outlet problem. Its a 14.8 mm quick release, so i just ordered a 14.8 Male quick release with a M22 male on the other end. That inlet measures 1" internal diameter. I'm hoping to get that to a male hozelock inlet.

What i hope to do unless someone tells me its a wrong or bad idea is.....rather than run out of a drum per se, i wanted to stow three 25 litre water containers side by side at head board of trailer, put hozelock taps on them, then they can run into a hozelock manifold i have, i'll pop the tap in the top of one of them and suck from the three of them if that makes sense ? It will save me hoofing a drum out the trailer, it can all just be left in situ i'm hoping.

Oh right. Looking at the picture, the connector is 1 inch but if you whip that off the male screw thread will be 3/4 most supplied suction pipes come with a female screw.

Outlet will be a midi connector.

Thanks mate but i don't think removing that inlet is going to be an option as the bypass hose is plumbed into it. I'm going to have to try to find an adapter i think.

If your thinking about using 3 x 25L drums, why not just buy a 75L or 100L tank. Can pick them up brand new for about £100. Work out the dimensions of the trailer and you should be able to get one that sits across the headboard. Then plum the inlet for the machine into the base of the tank. Simple.

Help !!!!

After a lot of trying different fitments and some googling, i've found out this female nut is a 3/4 inch GHT. Thats an American Term and size meaning 3/4 inch Garden Hose Tap thread. I've found brass adapters to convert it to a male 3/4 NPT thread, but they're on Ebay and the sellers are in America, about £13 with postage. Waiting is the only downside, i wanted to use it this weekend and delivery is about 2 to 3 weeks. Also the nut will not remove from the T piece its on. So if i remove the T piece, i'd need another T piece, that would be 1/2 inch BSP into pump, and 1/4 inch T off for by pass, and the inlet could be anything i could put a water supply into it with i.e 3/4 BSP. Anyone any ideas or advice ? I will get on the the people i bought it from and let them know the American fitment is no good to me, but they don't open back up till next Monday.

Its because he buys direct from dual pumps. Ive never had to return anything to him though.

It was the first time I've ever had to return anything and the woman said she would not replace it because I dod not know what I was doing and the issue was down to misuse. I would have gone to trading standards rather but it was during the height of summer so I refurbed the old kit with parts from the new stuff. Its disappointing when you buy a fair amount of kit and they turn their back on you when you need them.
