has anyone used copper pipe and compression fittings to plumb up their system, i imagine it would be a perm leak free way of doing it, any problems or experience with this would be appreciated. At moment everything is half inch hose and hozelocks

I had copper fittings in my old van and I cracked a soldered joint, must of been all the movement of the van. I changed to Hepworth push fit fittings and 15mm plastic pipe, in this van and haven't had a problem since

so if i use jg and plastic tubing which would include pipe work to lpg heater would those push fit joints take the heat and stay water tight?

I would have thought so, certainly upto the boiler, these pipes are used in central heating systems, but check with a Plummer to be 100% sure

also how can i attach plastic tubing to hose real which is secured in the van, will a hozelock fit on the 15mm tube, just wondering as the spindle spins and the plastic pipe cant spin if you get my drift

Yes used to have that in my previous van. Was excellent, especially as I had L5 in there. Its the way to go.

im not sure about the portable boilers but on a domestic system the first lengths of pipe from the boiler have to be copper because of the heat , can't remember the length that has to be copper .

Yes you can get various fitting, I normally put an in line washing maching tap, connect to pipe one end thread the other to male hozelock on

How do you for Jon guest tubing to the hose reel?

Say you go pump onto JG fitting and tubing to reel, how do u connect JG tubing to the reel? Will it fit Hozock?
