At the moment I'm in the unfortunate position of having to work from a hire van as my van mounted one is sick. I'm using loose containers and a Gardiner backpack. It's a lot of lugging around and tugging on my back (no, I don't carry the backpack on my back
).
I know I could get a trolley to rest the backpack and/or container on. What would make life a lot easier though is if I could connect the hosereel to it (about 80m of 6mm hose). Anyone tried this? Can the battery and pump cope with this all day does anyone know? Alex? Also, would shutting off flow here and there at the pole end mess up the pressure switch?
I calculated that there should be around 2.5 litres in the hoses (surprisingly little if I got it right) so that part wouldn't be a big issue - so long as the backpack parts can cope.
Feedback greatly appreciated thanks. It's vital that I don't mess up the backpack as it's my only way of WFPing at the moment.
