This game is not for every one. If you can't make 50k a year after trading 3 years then pack in and try something else. It's not for you.

According to the document I’m reading now, three quarters of all self employed carpet cleaners in the UK don’t have to pay tax, and that is thanks to the government raising the personal allowance to £10500.

This benefits part timer workers and low earners, such as you lot. Like I say, you don’t half read some bull from people on here.

Is that make £50k as in profit or earn as in turnover?
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

Big and small businesses are driven by the owner its them that sets the targets and goals there's nothing in the rules to say you can only earn £xyz.

I suppose that one way of shrinking the Carpet Cleaning market Paul. In reality if your partner is earning the same as you you survive on a lot less than your figure
