Took a customer on around this time last year ... 3 bed semi on a large close I do a few on ... she lasted till March .. every clean was an issue with bolted gate and never had money on her .. no cheque book .. no bacs ... always "come back tomorrow for the money"

She self fired with "my husband is gonna do them from now on" .... which was great as she was about to become an ex customer so saved me the bother.

Working away today on the close and heard a shout

"oooeeeeyyyyyy you can do mine today"

looks around and sees its her so thinks you cheeky bint !!!!!

errrr no don't think so - only got time for the regulars this month .... anyways thought your husband was gonna be doing them.

as shes talking Im packing reel and pole away and just drove off with her on the doorstep not looking too happy  


petty I know but it sure felt good ..... oh and got £15 in tips today

Went to do a reg custy today and side gate was locked. Fired off a text saying just done the fronts as can't get round the back . His reply 'I assumed you wouldn't clean them with the weather being as it is ' I sent back explaining that it was a nice day , no rain / snow etc, no problem ! He replied 'that's ok then ' and then straight afterwards 'in that case you can give the fascias a quick going over next time as part of the normal price' !!!!! WTF ? Like he's done me a favour by leaving the gate locked and wasting my time . Had to count to 10 before replying 'no thanks , merry Christmas to you' no reply

Theres more than your fair share of unprofessional individuals in the window cleaning trade I'd imagine it only takes a skank with a roof rack, a ladder and a habit to feed to start up.

those people need educating and dumping them is ne way of doing that.

I see things that way too. There are thousands of people out there who want or need a window cleaner. Why keep working for people who are difficult or tend to mess you about? I don't see why anyone would do that.
