I did a holiday home that I only do every other month today and It's always had hydrophobic glass. When I cleaned last (mid october) the glass and upvc were covered in fly spots and I had to give them a good scrub using quite a bit of Virosol.
I don't know if this is related, but on today's clean most of the glass is now hydrophilic - do you need to use bronze wool???
